Time is both fast and slow, I find. Some things that we've been working toward for multiple years now are moving forward slowly but surely. Other things that happen each year sometimes slip up on us and, even though they are annual events, still somehow take us by surprise.
One of those sneaky, fast-approaching events is the Key West Holiday Parade. In 2025 the holiday parade "snuck" up on me. You may think I'm getting ahead of myself. However, the first Saturday in December is closer than we may realize. In fact, it's 10 weeks away.
We are, therefore, soliciting people's availability and interest now. Would you like to help decorate a truck and trailer? Would you like to ride or walk along distributing candy, waving at the crowd, or slinging a thurible? Please let me know via email at or tell me in person.
