In Loving Memory of Winona Bocker Long

DESCRIPTION: In this narrative window, Jesus, simply clothed and unshod, welcomes and embraces the children who have come to him willingly and unabashed.
SYMBOLISM: The open-faced flowers, particularly the daisies, are symbols of youth and innocence. The Tri-Radiant Nimbus can be used to represent the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. In this case, it represents Jesus, Son of God.
MEMORIAL: Winona Bocker Long was born December 17, 1911. She was the infant daughter of Osbold (Osbul) S. Long and Rosalie Anna Bocker Long. Osbold was in the furniture business and Superintendent of Pen Casualty Company. He and Rosalie were married on November 14, 1910.
Winona was baptized on February 22, 1912, by St. Paul's rector, The Reverend Charles S. Stout. The sponsors were Gertrude L. Bocker, The Reverend Charles S. Stout, Robert Clark and Miss Caroline.
