DESCRIPTION: Details #2 and #3 of the center panel of the large clerestory window in the north transept, feature the thirteen people below the dove. In the lower group, (Detail #2) are seven figures of which two are easily identifiable: Saint Mary is dressed in traditional blue and Saint John, often pictured as a youthful, clean shaven man. The remaining five are bearded individuals and represent five of the twelve disciples. Each has a nimbus and a tongue of fires resting on his head: "And there appeared to them tongues as of fire resting on them." (Acts 2:3)
In Detail # 3 there are six bearded men of various ages, each with a nimbus with a flame or tongue of fire. They represent the remaining of the twelve disciples. One holds book with a beautifully ornamented cover.
MEMORIAL: Of the eight children of William and Euphemia Curry, four are remembered in this window.: Charles was born on June 4, 1847. He married Sarah Jane Lowe on October 8, 1873, with the Reverend John Reuter officiating. He died on May 5, 1898. George Henry was born on December 23, 1851. He married Caroline Albury on April 28, 1873, with the Reverend John Reuter officiating. He died on January 16, 1906. Henry Franklin was born on February 17, 1854, married Susan Fletcher Pinder on February 28, 1880 and lived in Bradenton, Florida. Robert Oliver was born on May 2,
1854, and married Mercedes Valdez on February 11, 1885, with the Reverend F.D. Lune officiating. He died on April 21, 1909.
The four other children of William and Euphemia Curry were Hilton H., Eleanor (Hellings), Florida (Harris) and Louisa (Ann) Porter.
