Loads of Love

Loads of Love is a ministry of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, started in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian.

We help members of our community pay the cost of doing laundry: an essential – but often overlooked – need.

Hello! We are members of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
It is our pleasure to pay the cost of washing and drying your clothes tonight.

This is our ministry in support of the community.

When you're ready to start the washer or dryer, give us a signal and we'll provide you with the coins you need.

What is Loads of Love?

Members of St Paul’s arrive unannounced at laundromats with quarters, teddy bears to give to children donated by The Women’s Club, and coloring books.

We put on our Volunteer badges, and with a smile, we approach those loading washers and dryers and explain that we would like to pay for their laundry.

We see relief and disbelief in the eyes of unsuspecting neighbors, recognizing people they don’t know care. When someone speaks another language, a knowing patron steps up to explain.
